I guess the best place to begin is the beginning;

IT'S OFFICIAL, I'M A FULL MEMBER OF DELTA DELTA DELTA!
I am so grateful to be sisters with the most amazing group of girls in the entire world! And to have the opportunity to support the most amazing philanthropy around, St. Jude Research Hospital. *Side note: please get me your address, I am required to send 40 letters on Friday the 21st and need your help. Thank you!*
I left her birthday before too many shenanigans so that Chandler and I could drive to Manhattan Kansas to celebrate the return of Ben Power from the Marines. It was so much fun to see all of our friends from K-State! And congrats Ben, who is already back out in San Deigo. And I got to see my absolute favorite person in the whole wide world, Jessica Brummel!
Later that night, or really early the next morning, Chandler drove us back to Lawrence. So we could wake up and drive to KC for the KC Metro Special Olympics Volleyball Tournament.
This was an amazing experience! I got the chance to coach Jayhawks #1, where I got to coach along "Bird" who is one of the assistant coaches for KU Volleyball! The team did really well and played really hard and came way with the win!
Somewhere in the middle of all of this craziness, I started to get sick and was in some pain, so after Allison took me to the doctor multiple times, they decided to treat me for shingles. That was an awful time!
This puts us to the time of Halloween. Chandler and I had our first date party! We dressed up and went as Blue and Steve from Blue's Clue. Why? Because I didn't think I could get Chandler to dress up as anything more elaborate. The best part of that night though is that fact that Chandler now can wear my letters!

How about them Royals? Chandler and I spent each night of the World Series intently watching with his grandparents, when during game 6 I was notified that we would not be watching from the couch, but from a much colder and more exciting place! We were given the amazing opportunity to cheer on the Royals at the Game 7 of the 2014 World Series! We dressed in all the Royal's gear we had and cheered the whole way there! Even on the way home, after the loss, we were excited. Chandler framed our tickets that night as not to crease them.

A very special man in my life, got to return to a Tri Delta function after all of these years! My dad got to come down and escorted me to a hearty helping of BBQ followed by a daddy daughter dance. Where we dresses as the decade: Cool. -Just ask dad- it was awesome to have him come and celebrate with me!
Not only did this month bring the birthday of my gbig and Adam Daugherty, but me as well! I got to celebrate my 19th birthday with an amazing group of people! It was great to get to see everyone and I had an amazing time with all of you! Thank you everyone for making that day so special! And thank you Allison for driving back from you Ultimate Tournament to surprise me, consider me surprised! And thank you Nick for the card that I will treasure forever!
If you are still reading this you can tell just how busy I have been, don't worry, I even have more for you to read! Hang in there!
On Friday the 14th, I got to spend the day with the more inspirational group of people. I ventured back to Okun Fieldhouse and got to coach the Douglas County Special Olympics Volleyball team at the Kansas State SO Tournament! I little tangent here; thank you Mrs. Waymire (if you are reading this) for inspiring and distilling this value in me to want and need to help others. Your passion of the Special Olympics and helping others has taught me to care for all kinds of people. I thought about you as I drove to the tournament, knowing that I was making you proud! The teams would go on to take 3rd, 4th, and I believe 1st. It was the most rewarding experience of my life and I can't wait to work with everyone again for cheerleading and basketball season in January.
NOW; SOME REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY BIG NEWS!
I have some REALLY BIG NEWS!
I have been selected by my sisters to serve as the Assistant New Member Educator for the Theta Omega Chapter! I am so excited, I can't wait to see what is in store for me!
Thanks, as always, for reading, you have almost made it to the end.
Just a little p.s., please send me addresses,
NO REALLY, SEND ME ADDRESSES FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
IT ALLOWS CHILDREN WITH CANCER TO RECEIVE TREATMENT, ESPECIALLY IF THEIR FAMILIES CAN'T AFFORD IT!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Maddi Majeski
